New Bridge to Link Botswana, Zimbabwe & Zambia

The new Kazungula Bridge is set to ease tourist traffic among several African countries and is expected to be complete by 2020. The 923-metre-long bridge will link the towns of Kazungula in Zambia, Kasane in Botswana, and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. The location of the bridge traverses the intersection of the Zambezi and Chobe rivers, where 3 countries meet. The bridge is part of a corridor-long infrastructure improvement programme to enhance regional trade and integration between Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
